Refund policy

Preamble

All definitions and abbreviations used in this Return and Refund Policy are those defined in the Terms and Conditions and shall have the meaning and interpretation as set out therein.

No Return Policy

Due to the nature of our products, which are food items, returns are generally not possible. This is because we cannot resell returned food items to other customers for safety and quality reasons. Therefore, all products are sold "as is," and all sales are final.

Exceptions

We do, however, understand that mistakes can happen. If an incorrect product or item was delivered, such as ordering Cheese and Corn Samoosas and receiving Potato and Cheese Samoosas, we will gladly accept a return. In such cases, you have two options:

  1. Corrected Delivery: We will prepare and deliver the correct order at no additional shipping expense to you.

  2. Store Credit: Alternatively, you can choose to receive a credit equivalent to the purchase price, which can be used for your next order.

To be eligible for a return in such cases, the food item must be untouched and in the same condition that you received it. If you need to request a return for an incorrect item, please contact us immediately at 082 512 6093 or via email at sales@thesnack.co.za.

Refunds (if applicable)

If you would like to cancel an order, you must inform us via email at sales@thesnack.co.za within 15-30 minutes after purchase for same-day delivery orders, or no later than 1 day after purchase for pre-booked orders and catering orders.

For cancellations made prior to delivery, we will reimburse you for the amount paid, minus any applicable bank charges. The refund will be issued to the same payment method used for the order. For credit card payments, the refund may take up to 20 working days to appear on your bank statement. For bank transfers, refunds will be completed within 48 hours from the issuance of a credit note after receiving your bank details.

Changes to the Return and Refund Policy

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of this Return and Refund Policy by posting updates and changes on our Site. It is your responsibility to check our Site periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our Site or Services following the posting of any changes to this Return and Refund Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
